Born in Beirut, he is a screenwriter and film critic who worked for numerous Lebanese and French newspapers until he was appointed as the film editor of Al-Nahar, the Lebanese newspaper. For years, Habéchian covered numerous editions of renowned film festivals like Cannes, Venice and Berlin. On TV, he also directed episodes of the film show entitled THE ARAB LENS.
